A native of Southern California, Deven began working on set in commercial television production and spent several years as an assistant director. With the emergence of growing web video, he focused his attention to directing in that space.
His wide variety of work includes directing original online content for Verizon Media, Maxim Inc, Conde Naste, theChive and Entrepreneur. He has directed episodes for two State Farm branded docuseries (both Telly Award recipients), as well as over 100 episodes of a highly successful Bank of America/Visa sponsored series.
Other work includes a "Star Wars" show sizzle for Disney, original content for eSports YouTube influencers, "FaZe Clan" and multiple episodes for Autoblog's transportation & technology series, "Translogic." He continues to create content with a love of working with talent and crew to tell great and compelling visual stories.
